StoryGrafter builds a review guide: the story of a change in sections on the left, and next to each section the exact diff lines that it explains. The output is one self-contained HTML file, and the build checks coverage, so every changed line lands in exactly one section. A reviewer who reads the story has seen the whole change. The idea comes from Linear’s review guides.

It’s meant to be run by the coding agent that made the change, at the end of the session. The agent knows what the diff doesn’t show: why the change exists, what failed on the way, which edge cases it found. And writing the guide is a review in itself, because explaining each section makes the agent check its claims against the code, which finds bugs.

It’s a Swift CLI with a Claude Code skill, installed with brew install nevyn/tap/storygrafter. Have a look at an example guide.
